Description: Model aviation enthusiasts had flown for quite a number of years at the Fayette County Airport. It was common to drive out to the airport on a sunny weekend afternoon, look both ways across the taxiway to ensure that there were no full-scale aircraft barreling your way, and head to one end of the runway to be greeted by half a dozen fellow modelers.
