Description: The Syracuse Thunderbirds Aero Radio Society model airplane club after incorporating in 1979, and obtaining a use permit from the town of Schroeppel, purchased twenty three acres of farmland four miles east of Phoenix, New York, for the specific purpose of promoting the design, construction and organized flying of radio control aircraft.
